How to use Scout Shirt Hook and Loop:

The Loop (Fuzzy) side is attached to the uniform so the patches can be removed without sticking to other garments in the wash. We recommend hand-sewing the loop to the uniform, though machine-sewing works as well. Adhesive use is not recommended as permanent cloth damage may result.

 

The Hook (Scratchy) side is attached to the back of the patch. We recommend hand-sewing or machine-sewing the hook for a durable, long-term attachment. Adhesives may be used to mount the patch, but sewing will often be more durable.

 

NOTE: Many patches are coated on the reverse to ensure the embroidery does not unravel. Unless specifically stated by the patch provider, this coating is likely not self-adhesive or iron-on.

Shipping:

Typical orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail.  Completed orders are filled and readied for shipment as soon as possible (typically the same day).  USPS Mail is generally very quick, so you should expect your order to arrive in 3-5 business days.  On occasion, we have seen deliveries take up to two weeks, though this is not normal. 2021 Update: we are seeing some orders take up to three weeks and now recommend purchase of a shipping method with Tracking (see Special Note below).

 

Please keep in mind that USPS Mail delivery can be delayed because they:

• Do not deliver on holidays
• Are only open in the morning on Saturday
• Are closed on Sunday
• Are impacted by severe weather

For these reasons, it is impossible to guarantee a specific delivery date as that is under the control of the USPS.  If your order has not arrived within 3 business weeks, please contact us (see Special Note below).

 

Special Note: Since late 2020, US Post Office delays have increased significantly on standard First Class mail. For this reason, we recommend choosing either First Class Mail w/ Tracking, or Priority Mail as a delivery method. At present, we will not ship replacement orders earlier than 3 weeks from shipment date unless the order had Tracking and USPS reports it as lost. We will continue to monitor the situation and may change this recommendation in the future.

 

Returns:

At the low cost of the individual items, returns are not accepted.
